Release Information

The Voxeo VoiceObjects platform provides powerful functionalities to enable the development, deployment, management and analysis of self-service phone portals across multiple channels including voice, video, text, and mobile Web. Below is a summary of the VoiceObjects releae history during the past three years.

VoiceObjects 9.1 – GA Date February 8th, 2010; R1 Date April 21st, 2010

VoiceObjects 9.1 offers a range of new functionalities including a new Database object to easily access and manipulate backend data, a  new Text object making the handling of application prompts in text-based applications as easy as the handling of audio files for IVR applications, a “simple mode” in the Connector object for cases in which less is more, and others.

VoiceObjects 9.0 – GA Date March 30th, 2009; R2 Date October 12th, 2009

VoiceObjects 9 delivers a number of infrastructure extensions and enhancements including support for syslog and Java Message Service (JMS).  The Storyboard Manager provides added convenience and peace of mind through automatic resource validation.

VoiceObjects 7.4 – Release Date December 15th, 2008

VoiceObjects 7.4 has a focus on security and user management with two new user roles and a variety of password policies. Unified Self Service is further expanded by covering 2-way SMS and Instant Messaging.

VoiceObjects 7.3 – Release Date March 31st, 2008

VoiceObjects 7.3 is a major feature release, delivering Desktop for Eclipse as the new flagship service creation environment. Natural Dialog Management capabilities are expanded with the introduction of grammar control and caller-adaptive pronunciation. The new Phone Simulator enables the realistic testing of text and mobile Web applications. The Storyboard Manager for Design & Migration boosts the initial development of new applications and the migration of legacy installations.

VoiceObjects 7.2 – Release Date October 31st, 2007

VoiceObjects 7.2 strengthens caller behavior analysis by introducing the Business Task object. Global deployments are full UTF-8 support through all product components. VoiceObjects Analyzer now also supports IBM Cognos.

VoiceObjects 7.1 – Release Date March 31st, 2007

VoiceObjects 7.1 introduces the notion of Unified Self Service by being the first platform to support all phone channels (voice/DTMF, video, text, and mobile Web). It also adds support for utterance recording to leverage the capabilities of the growing number of VoiceXML 2.1-compliant IVRs. VoiceObjects Analyzer provides a number of additional reports to understand caller bahavior, including dominant path analysis.
